The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in central government schools such as KVS, NVS, and other institutions.
CTET does not provide direct recruitment but qualifies candidates to apply for teaching jobs. The exam focuses on teaching aptitude, subject understanding, and child development concepts.
